Pentarch Forest Products can export all commercially grown plantation softwood and hardwood species as whole round logs cut to order. Our exports have comprised Radiata Pine, Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine and Eucalyptus Nitens species, grown in Australia and New Zealand.
We can also supply wood fibre in woodchip and lumber. Logs are sold in units of Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS) cubic metres with 10 cm free trim. Woodchip can be sold in a number of ways, as agreed by both parties.
Pinus Radiata
Radiata Pine (Pinus Radiata) is a plantation softwood timber grown widely throughout Australia, it is a versatile timber which can be readily sawn, peeled, or converted to pulp. Radiata Pine is widely used for a range of structural and decorative uses such as framing, lining, block board, glue laminated beams, veneer & plywood.

Eucalyptus Nitens
Also known as Plantation Ash or Shining Gum, is an exclusively plantation grown hardwood species suitable core veneer production where density & strength are a factor or high quality woodchip production for pulp & paper. It is light in colour and unlike most other Eucalypt species, has minimal end splitting or checking during accumulation for export.

Eucalyptus Globulus
Also known as Southern Blue Gum, as plantation species predominantly used for the production of woodchip for high grade pulp & paper but also for core veneers for the container flooring industry.
Eucalyptus Saligna
Also known as Sydney Blue Gum, a dense hard species, dark pink to red brown in colour, suitable for flooring, joinery, veneer, furniture, cladding & construction.
